About
A small resort that behaves like one.
Facts about ownership, opening dates and design credits are marked [VERIFY] until confirmed by the hotel.

Dove Creek Resort & Marina sits on the water at Mile Marker 94.5 in Key Largo, where the mangroves give way to open creek and the reef lies a short run offshore. Ten floating slips, a quiet cove beach, hammocks strung between the palms, and a breakfast lounge that looks straight over the water — that is the whole idea. You can be diving John Pennekamp by nine, or you can not leave the hammock at all.
It is not a large property, and it does not try to be. There is one front desk, one pool deck, one dock, and staff who tend to recognise you by the second morning. Rooms are pale and uncluttered, with the water in view from most of them.
As part of the Trademark Collection by Wyndham, the resort keeps its own name, design and management while operating inside a global soft brand. The independence is real: the room mix, the food and the tone of service are set here, not in a brand manual. The infrastructure is real too — Wyndham Rewards points and redemptions, a familiar booking and loyalty system, and standards that are audited rather than self-declared [VERIFY].
What follows from a small waterfront property is a different rhythm. Breakfast is not a conveyor belt. Late check-out is a conversation rather than a policy lookup [VERIFY]. The team knows which captains are worth calling, when the tide makes the morning paddle worth setting an alarm for, and where to eat after a day on the water. Recommendations come from people who live here.
